Rough Map of the Kingdom of Amica (circa 600 AC)

Overview

The Kingdom of Amica is an inland country in the northwest of the continent of Flamouria, on the planet of Omnia. As of the year 600 AC, its borders spread across the Amican Valley, from which it derives its name, and the western half of the Navi Valley, and also includes the southern half of the Fumus Valley, and the northern half of the Summerfell Valley.

There are nine regions in the Kingdom of Amica, each with their own regional city. The regions are the Capital, Parras Reach, Norfirland, Dumfries Flatlands, Whest Lowlands, Broulliard, Lochan Arda, Amican Highlands, and Outer Laushire, and their regional cities are Sage City, Karcia, Courbury, New Arran, Leville Marais, Eidyn, Llyngardd, Auldarran, and Dunbally, respectively.

The countries that border the Kingdom of Amica include the Kingdom of Stagmere to the west, the Caminus Collective to the north, the Vinh Kingdom to the east, the New Scotian Kingdom to the southeast, and the Rayfirlands Republic to the southwest.

The Kingdom of Amica is a feudalist society, which is a system of legal, economic, military, and cultural customs and governance relating to life debts and land ownership. The dynastic monarch owns the kingdom and leases the regions and domains to the nobility, comprised of high overlords and petty overlords, in return for fealty and service. The nobility would in turn lease plots of their land to the gentry, free peasantry, and serfs, who would work the land and provide goods and services.

The flag of the Kingdom of Amica bares the description of โ€œupon a gyronny of greens sits a golden couche shield lined with azure, with a black down in its centreโ€.
